Samsung Frame TV Size Guide: 43″ to 85″
Samsung's Frame TV comes in six sizes: 43, 50, 55, 65, 75, and 85 inches. The right size depends on your wall space, viewing distance, and budget. For art display specifically, bigger tends to look better — but there is a sweet spot for every room.

Size Tips for Art Display
- Go bigger than you think — art on a wall looks best when it fills the space; a too-small Frame looks like a screen, not a painting
- 65″ is the sweet spot — it is the most popular Frame TV size and looks proportional in most living rooms
- Match frame to wall proportions — the Frame should occupy roughly 60–75% of the wall's width for the best visual balance
- Consider the bezel — Samsung's customizable bezels add 1–2 inches on each side; factor this into your wall measurements
- Portrait vs landscape — the Frame can be mounted vertically for portrait-orientation art, though the standard mount is horizontal
Standard Frame vs Frame Pro by Size
The Frame Pro (Neo QLED) is only available in 65″, 75″, and 85″. If you want a smaller Frame, the standard QLED model is your only option. For 65″+, you have the choice — see our Frame Pro vs Standard comparison.
Measuring Your Wall
- Measure the wall width where the Frame will hang
- A Frame should take up roughly 2/3 of the wall width for balanced proportions
- Measure the height from floor to center — art is typically centered at 57–60 inches (gallery standard)
- Leave at least 4 inches of clearance on each side for the frame's mounting hardware
- Check power outlet access — Samsung's One Invisible Connection cable helps with clean routing
Custom Art for Every Size
Regardless of size, all Samsung Frame TVs are 4K (3840×2160, 16:9). Your custom art should match this resolution and ratio. ArtTV generates art at 4K resolution in the correct aspect ratio for Frame TVs — upload it via the SmartThings app and it will display perfectly at any size.
